Jason Hendrickson or J.Hen as most people call him was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He is the third of five children born to Lawrence Hendrickson Sr and Willie Lee Lindsay. Jason is a singer, musician, songwriter, producer, preacher, and a newly published author. Jason grew up in the church and joined the music department at the age of five. This is where he began to pursue his destiny, and his love for music.
Jason is one of the most exciting and powerful gifts in the kingdom. He serves faithfully as the Pastor and Founder of The Restoration Tabernacle of Brooklyn NY established in May of 2012. Jason is an accomplished musician that has recorded several albums and has traveled all over the world spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ thru the music ministry. Jason has shared platforms with some of the greatest gifts in the gospel arena, such as Pastor Darryl Hill, Pastor Marvin Sapp, Pastor Jamal Bryant, Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Fred Hammond, J.J Hairston & Youthful Praise, Tye Tribbett, John P. Kee, Pastor Donnie McClurkin just to name a few.
Jason is also the author of the exciting and informative book entitled “You’re Not My Daddy” Guidelines to Becoming a Successful Stepfather. Jason has been a stepfather for 22 years now; in this book he shares his victories and his failures of dealing with this most delicate situation. Jason has most recently been signed to a new label deal with Godfather Records, the label founded by the
alate great Timothy Wright. Within in this new venture Jason has just released his new single “Great Things”. Jason is the C.E.O and founder of JHENMINISTRIES.Inc, where the entire media ministry is handled and distributed which includes Books, DVD’S, as well as teaching and preaching CD’s. Jason can also be heard on the #1 Gospel Station in NYC WLIB 1190 everyday singing the theme song “Afternoon Praise” for Bishop Hezekiah Walker’s show “Afternoon Praise” which he wrote and co-produced, as well as “Sunday Praise” the theme song for the Liz Black Show on 107.5 WBLS AND 1190. Jason also has songs on Marvin Sapp’s latest projects “Here I Am”and “I Win”.
Along with all of these accomplishments Jason is married to his beautiful wife Monique, and together they have three beautiful daughters, Brittany, Akyra, and Courtney. Jason most recently received an honorary Doctorate Degree in Sacred Music from ABG Seminary.
Jason is a young man with a vision, a vision to impact people across this world with the several gifts and talents, but most of all the anointing that God has placed in his life. As he travels across the nation singing, preaching, meeting all the people that are a part of his destiny he wants them all to know that “Whatever we want to do with ease, we must first do with diligence” and with God all things are possible.
